Influencer Marketing


We have a longstanding relationship with Cotton On as their lead local PR agency. Cotton On is a global fashion retail brand known for its fast, trend-centric approach. Our work for Cotton On includes collaborating on key, seasonal collection drops via strategic influencer engagement, press drops, social media campaigns, content production and dynamic events and experiences.

Cotton On Summer ‘20

We conceptualised and executed an action-packed three-day Summer vacay in Cape Town with eight leading influencers, to bring to life the brand’s key swimwear and summer styles. The experience included a beach picnic, a yacht cruise and electric bikes on the promenade. The itinerary formed the perfect canvas for maximum content creation, a layered social media campaign and an end result that saw a 15% record spike in swimwear sales for the brand.

Cotton On Curve ‘20

To mark the arrival of a new, diversified Cotton On Curve collection, we organised a pop-up shopping experience and trend talk for key talent in the heart of Johannesburg’s edgy Maboneng district. The space, with its brightly painted walls and studio effect, lent itself to Instagram-worthy content opportunities captured by our expert street style photographer.

Cotton On Body Jan ‘21

To launch the latest Cotton On Body collection, we organised an energetic Barre class with our brand partner, The Movement Lab. Fitness creators worked out in the latest Cotton On kit, followed by smoothie bowls and a walking content shoot at the nearby Sea Point pavilion.

Cotton On Body March ’21

For the launch of Cotton On’s latest activewear range, we curated a two-day staycation experience at Cape View Clifton. Activities included a 6 am HIIT workout class, a beach picnic decorated by Souk Rentals and a night-time slumber party (in the new intimates collection, obvs). The staycation was documented for content used across global digital platforms and culminated in a competition where one fan got to win the entire experience.

Cotton On Winter ‘21

For the new Cotton On Winter collection, we organised a three-day bush trip to The Outpost Lodge in the Northern Kruger National Park. Eight talent partners were invited, and eighty different looks were photographed in a social media campaign for the brand. The days were jam-packed with 5am game drives, walking safaris and candlelit bush dinners.

Cotton On Denim ‘21

We seeded the latest Cotton On Denim product to 25 key influencers across the country. Their job was to style their own looks and capture photos and Instagram Reels for a social media takeover. On a specific date and time, all creators published their content for an Instagram blast with UTM links for consumers to shop the looks in real-time. The hashtag #DoItInDenim trended nationwide and the brand saw an uptick in online sales as a result.

Cotton On x Space Jam Collaboration

For the specially licensed Cotton On x Space Jam collection, we seeded product to key talent for an Instagram competition that saw one fan get to win the collection and go see the movie with seven friends. Product was delivered by a giant Bugs Bunny allowing for fun, creative press drop content to be created by the likes of Hungani Ndlovu (@hunganindlovu) and Audrey Lunda (@audrey_lunda). Our band partners, RocoMamas and Ster-Kinekor, co-hosted the competition and completed the prize with a viewing and post-movie burger feast.
